Haj Bhawan Coaching, Patna maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students, especially those residing in the hostel. The centre follows strict guidelines issued by the Government of Bihar and other regulatory bodies to prevent any form of physical, verbal, or psychological harassment

Key Anti-Ragging Policies:

A. Absolute Prohibition

  • Ragging in any form—physical abuse, mental harassment, teasing, bullying, or humiliation—is strictly banned within the premises, including hostels, classrooms, libraries, and dining areas.

B. Awareness and Declaration

  • All newly admitted students and their guardians must sign an anti-ragging affidavit, declaring they will not engage in or support any ragging activity.
  • Orientation sessions are held to inform students of what constitutes ragging and how to report it.

C. Dedicated Anti-Ragging Cell

  • The coaching centre has a designated Anti-Ragging Committee and Wardens responsible for monitoring student conduct and taking immediate action if any complaint is reported.

D. Confidential Complaint System

  • Victims or witnesses of ragging can report incidents confidentially to the coaching coordinator, hostel warden, or helpline numbers.
  • A zero-retaliation assurance is provided to encourage students to come forward without fear.

E. Strict Disciplinary Action

  • Any student found guilty of ragging will face immediate expulsion from the coaching and hostel, along with possible legal action under relevant IPC sections.
  • Cases may also be reported to the Minority Welfare Department and Bihar State Haj Committee.
