The Haj Bhawan Coaching Centre was established in 2010 under the guidance of the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, with the primary objective of providing free coaching to minority students aspiring for government jobs. Initially, the program focused on preparing candidates for the Police Sub-Inspector (Daroga) recruitment. Due to its overwhelming success and the positive response from students and the community, the initiative was gradually expanded to include other major competitive exams.
Over the years, Haj Bhawan Coaching has evolved into a full-fledged coaching and mentoring platform focused exclusively on the BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) examination. With consistent support from the Government of Bihar and a result-oriented approach, the centre has earned a strong reputation as a leading state-run coaching institution for minority aspirants preparing for the civil services.
To increase its reach and accessibility, the coaching was later extended through smart classrooms and virtual sessions in minority hostels across various districts of Bihar. This step helped bridge the urban-rural divide and ensured that students from even remote areas could benefit from high-quality exam preparation without needing to relocate.
